Didn't taste the food but service and beer was good, warm welcome and a good atmosphere, also plenty of outdoor seating to sit and enjoy the weather.

I have not been to this pub for possibly 25 years. It has been done out recently, nice ale, dog friendly. I would go again.

The only thing better than their burgers on Thursday nights is the home cooked lunch on Sunday. Small or large portions served with a smile in a really friendly atmosphere. Leave room for the home made apple crumble though - at 2.50 a portion, it's a bargain!

Absolutely beautiful place with beautiful people. We have just moved into the area so we thought we would try out the local pubs. Everybody is friendly and so sociable.

Great local drinking pub.. lovely atmosphere, drinks at reasonable prices, very popular with locals and always busy every day of the week. Also great outdoor seating area outside to sit and have a drink. They also do 'snack foods' which include scotch eggs, cheese box and various cobs which are really nice and at very good prices. Dogs are welcome in the pub and they even provide doggy treats for free!
